01Information stored on your device
Business profile details, client information, document drafts, line items, work types, templates, Visual Log exhibits, photos, saved transcripts, follow-up reminders, message snapshots, and most preferences are stored locally so Verbadoc can reopen and edit them on the same device.
02Microphone and speech recognition
When you start voice capture, Verbadoc requests microphone and Speech Recognition permission. Apple may process audio for transcription depending on the device, language, network, and system settings. Verbadoc does not use the microphone outside an active capture flow.
03Approved transcript parsing
Verbadoc sends text for structured parsing only after you continue from transcript review. The selected transcript, an app user identifier, platform information, and limited document context are sent through the Verbadoc service to OpenAI. The full local document library is not uploaded as part of this request.
04Operational and purchase records
The hosted service may keep limited entitlement, rate-limit, request-time, usage-total, and security records needed to operate the connected feature. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase and entitlement information; Verbadoc does not receive payment-card details.
05Photos, files, reminders, and backups
Photos and files you select are used to build documents and exports. Local notifications are scheduled through iOS when you enable them. Recovery files are created only when you choose to export a backup and remain wherever you save or share them.
06Retention, deletion, and support
Local content remains until you delete it, clear it through the app, or remove the app. Connected-service records may be retained for security, billing, abuse prevention, and legal obligations. A support email contains the address, message, and attachments you choose to send; do not include client documents or private job details unless they are necessary and requested.
